This project will be of small scale photographs projecting an intimate feeling. It will be a dream sequence or a collection of dreams interpreted through



Conceptual Concerns:

This is a documentation of dreams to provide a natural "pressure-release," that is to remember them and not forget them.
I'm keeping a dream journal to try and remember my dreams so I can interpret them in photographs. I may also take from other peoples dreams, my mom, sister, boyfriend, and try to interpret what they see and feel.

Technical Skills Covered

I would like to master my large format 4x5 image taking. Trying to infuse film with digital: scanning my film and using photoshop to enhance a dream like state. I'm not a computer person so I would like to learn what digital has to offer.

Carl Jung, Psychology book on dreams, my own dreams and trying to interpret them by applying theory. Poetry can also be insightful.

Grade

I think it would involve in how successful or unsuccessful the image is in interpreting the dreams and the conviction it has. How close it gets to the concept and technical ability to create the images. Trying to capture those dreams without it being cliche will be my ultimate challenge.
