This is what I'm working on for Mark's class...I won't be using both these images, but I'm just trying to see what works...I welcome any suggestions or opinions...
I really like the second image. It really seems to capture a feeling of anxiety, discomfort and a deconstruction of the human form. How did you get this affect?
hey, thanks. That means a lot coming from a painter! It's a 4x5 blk/white negative sandwiched with a 4X5 color negative that I took of a skin/flesh painting that I did. I scanned them both, then I painting a little bit more on photoshop to give it a little bit more of that flesh color...So the image itself is black and white, I added the color later with a color negative and then a splash more on photoshop.

ReplyDeleteOh the multiple exposure is all done in the camera with a long shutter speed, I used a field 4x5 view camera.
